Classic Pinup and Vintage Hollywood Makeup Tutorial

A look if you want to do something classy or pinup-ish.

Reminds me of a marilyn monroe look; I should’ve used eyeliner to make my mole darker or to make one closer to my lips.. (:

I basically used

cover girl - any white-ish eyeshadow
concealer for a base - doesn’t matter what kind..

cover girl - a brown quad pallete; the lightest brown

then the dark brown in the almay pallete for brown eyes (for the crease)

(a beige color for the high light)

a dark red lipstick..

loreal hip creme liner..

mac shade stick; a white shimmery one; before i put the cover girl “white-ish” eyeshadow

The reason why I’m not explaining the products in detail is because some ppl can’t buy those and some have to use different shades either because they are lighter or darker so basically all you need is a base, mascara, liner, a white eyeshadow, brown, a darker brown for the crease, beige for the high light, and a red lipstick that goes with your skin tone.

It wouldn’t be fair if you bought the brown I buy because it would prob be too harsh, ( I know because I tried using the same shades I use on me on my cousin and it didn’t look right, so I know to use the lighter shades just for her).

Since I am inspired by Hollywood starlets and beauty of era’s past, I decided to start things off with the beautiful, Marilyn Monroe. She just has this incredible, classic look that seems timeless even now and this is my tribute to her.
