얼짱~Ulzzang Makeup Tutorial #2

ok so if you guys don’t know what Ulzzang is…it is literally the Korean word for “Best Face” they are known for their large, glassy, doll-like eyes and their cute expressions. Typically Ulzzang have very light skin so if you have naturally darker skin then using a ligher foundation and concealer will give you that fair skinned look. BIG eyes are very important! Circle lenses play a big role in making your eyes look larger but they are NOT absolutely required for this look. If you are interested in purchasing a pair, i got mine from circlelens2u.com. White eyeliner and mascara also contribute to making your eyes appear larger.

Makeup Tutorial: How to Look Ulzzang

This look was requested a gazillion times.

First time guest starring my lil sis so be nice ^^

Steps to achieve the Ulzzang look:
1)pale foundation
2)circle lens
3)thick black liner
4)mascara/falsies
5)baby pink blush
6)baby pink lip gloss
7)white/luminescent eyeliner and shadow
8)hair: makes a huge difference. You need a defined hair style, works best medium to long

How to take pictures:
1)camera angle is crucial: look up at the camera so eyes appear larger
2)lighting: bright white lights that wash out your features, namely nose and mouth, and make you look sheet white
3)the ‘victory’/peace sign with fingers are popular
4)some girls puff out their cheeks to look extra cute
5)curve smile/mouth so that upper lip is nonexistent
6)pop your eyes out even more

p.s. I knew I forgot something! I didn’t apply mascara/falsies

pps. I am my usual silly self when I have guests over

This look was done solely for my viewer’s interests. I personally am not a fan of this Ulzzang look, and don’t think its very attractive. Quite frankly, makes sweet girls look like aliens. But then again, the same can be said about other extreme styles such as the Goth look or Ganguro look.

Furthermore, I am opposed to colour contacts and circle lens because a person’s eyes can tell a lot. These lenses not only mask the windows to one’s soul, but also change the anatomy of the eyeball itself. And no, makeup does not do the same, but rather enhances and frames the eyes. In conclusion, if you care enough to have read this far, thank you. This is simply my personal opinion that I wanted to put out there. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions, and I do not wish to offend anyone.

Important Note: The eyelash glue I used was a substitute and not suggested to wear out in public (unless u can wipe it off and the crease stays that way). And I do not recommend using the eyelid glue in the long term because it will stretch out ur lids and then it will become even droopier!!
