Finally!

I was brave enough to show me applying foundation!

I have had so many people comment on how nice my skin is, and today I am going to show you that I don’t actually have nice skin, but just a good foundation job!

I am the kind of person who needs coverage, but doesn’t want my makeup looking too caked on.

There are many ways to apply foundation, many types. This is a simple video to get you started.

If not for the talking and explaining, the application process only takes around 3 to 5 minutes for a flawless look. EASYYYY! Using this quick method has made my life SO much easier in terms of how long it takes me to do my makeup.

No more screaming from people telling me to hurry-the-hell-up! I mean, jeez, people! Get off my back already! I’M TRYING TO LOOK PRETTY HERE! *Hair-toss*

Products used in video:
* Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer
* MAC Prep + Prime Face
* Physician’s Formula Gentle Green Concealer
* MAC 187 Duo Fibre Stippling Brush (LOVE!)
* MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW20
* MAC 194 Concealer Brush
* MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC20

*** NOTE!! ***
If I am applying any sort of powder to my face afterwards (such as contouring powders, blush powders, bronzers, etc), I SET my face afterwards with one of the following:
1. MAC Invisible Set Powder
2. MAC Studio Fix Powder (NC25)
3. MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder (NC20)
4. Maybelline Mineral Power Finishing Veil (Transluscent)
or 5. Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil
I use a large fluffy brush and apply the powder to all portions of my face where I’ll be blending in a blush color or contour color, as well as to the areas of my face where I get oily throughout the day.

However, If I plan to use a CREAM blush (or any wet blush), I apply it DIRECTLY to my liquid foundation (without a setting powder).

Then, I apply a transluscent or invisible set powder OVER the cream blush (which will “set” the blush without disturbing the color) and contour/bronze my face normally (or even top it with extra powder blush)!

A good rule of thumb is:
Only apply powder products to your face on top of a powdered CANVAS (aka, FACE/SURFACE). This will prevent streaking and allow you to blend your product better! Likewise, only apply WET products atop a WET canvas. The same principles are in effect here as well!
