Back 2 School/Beach/Gym Makeup Tutorial

I get asked A LOT for makeup that is wearable for back to school, the gym, and the beach. So I thought I would take care of all three at once!

if you haven’t guessed by now.. this is what I think when it comes to makeup for..
school: you should worry about your school work first, & play with makeup later. taking care of your skin at a young age is WAY more important than slathering on cake icing foundation, & enough liner that a raccoon would be jealous. besides you can always apply it AFTER school when you don’t have to do it according to their rules.
the gym: witness the fitness, that’s why you’re at the gym. the gym =/= makeup counter.
the beach: soak up some sun, & go in the water without having to worry if your face is melting off or not. instead worry if your SPF is melting off or not.
Feel comfortable in your own skin! Take care of it, & drink lots of water. If your skin is already whipped into shape, you wont have to worry about makeup.
Makeup is an accessory just like your favorite piece of jewelry. The world will not end if you’re not wearing it.

Man Makeup: Looking Awake/Healthy

Just because the title says this is for men doesn’t mean there isn’t VERY useful information in the video the ladies can learn from as well!
With the concealers in terms of coverage, also think of that for how much your skin can breathe through the product.
With all the different kinds of fabric I used to compare with coverage for concealer/foundation the same applys for how much your skin can breathe through the makeup.
lace: sheer/light coverage, very breathable
cotton: light/medium coverage, breathable.
vinyl: full coverage, suffocation city.
BUT this doesn’t apply to ALL foundations and concealers, some full coverage products wear, breathe, and feel like a light coverage and are barely noticeable. it all depends on the brand!

like i say in the video i didnt really give this my all, im sick and it was late. but its good enough to post. i do tutorials then wash them off so theres another reason i was slackin on this one. if i was doing it for something you better believe it would be done up to my full ability
anyway, there are 43809434 ways to do a drag, showgirl, pageant etc. kind of makeup so i did a little of them all.
i know girls who will NEVER have a cut crease all year, then once a pageant comes up BAM theres the sharpest line in their crease i have ever seen.. (im a fan of a really dramatic smoky eye myself, so im one of them)

When lifes a drag, go to the beach!
I pulled my inspiration from the buildings meeting with the sky in the upper left hand corner of the [inspirational] photo. The colors instantly popped to me so I went with it.
The hair reminds me of the beach, wavy/messy from being wet and in the wind all day.
Then to top it off, I added bold colorful flowers for that little Hawaiian flair.
Since Im sure I will get asked somewhere, this video took 60 minutes to record. All around it was about 90 minutes from start to finish.

guyliner sounds so effin’ lame. who says that?!
eyeliner on a dude should look sloppy, but a controlled sloppy. think about makeup after going to a concert jumping around and letting your makeup get messed up, then falling asleep in it because you were too drunk to wash it off. it should look like that, but on purpose!
