Hey everyone! I created this 5 Minute look from the step by step guide in “The 5 Minute Face”- a book by makeup artist Carmindy (from TLC’s What Not To Wear). This is a great makeup book, especially for beginners- and I’ll probably do a review on it soon once I’ve read through it all.
*ADDED BONUS: I used almost all drugstore products for this look!

as far as smudging …
as far as smudging the liner , skip the q tip and just use a liner that has the smudger on the other end. everything else turned out great though. thank you for the tutorial.

I was with you up until the eyeliner part. I can NOT do that in 1 minute.
I do use the qtip, but mainly just to erase all mistakes I’ve made, I don’t have a very steady hand

I’ve tried narrowing down the time I spend in front of the mirror and it just doesnt work. Thank you for taking the time to show us and give us some tips. You two look so cute. It was funny to see ur husband yawning. He looks like he’s very cool. Like nothing bothers him. I have her book since april 2007 and I still use her 5 min sometimes. But I can’t do it in 5 mins. I spend 5 in foundation, so in total is 10 min aprox. But the look is really good, because everytime i have it on, i get complements. I think the key is the highlight.

I really enjoy your videos and you ARE cute as a couple, but I actually find you are more distracted with Tyler there; your instructional vids flowed better before you started doing them together. Maybe you guys could do some couple-type vids together. Poor Tyler looks so uncomfortable in the makeup vids. I do love your vids, though.
